Amalaki is one of the richest sources of natural Vitamin C and as a fruit it contains naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acids (AHA’s).
The main constituents include ascorbic acid, fatty acids, bioflavonoids, polyphenols, B vitamins, calcium, potassium, iron, tannins, and pectin.
